Connecting our community with the rich natural and historical treasures out our back door is central to our mission.
Want to learn more about mushrooms or edible seaweed? Sign up kids or grandkids for a week of nature-oriented day camp? Take a guided walk in winter along wild shoreline? DRA offers events, workshops, skills courses, field trips and lectures, summer and vacation camps, after school and home school programs, and more throughout the year.
Our goal is to enable students of all ages to make their own discoveries about the natural world and the cultural history of this watershed. All programs are designed to teach basic concepts of ecology and integrate hands-on opportunities to learn scientific methods.
Our calendar lists our events and programs by category, such as music, Trail Tamers, programs for kids, and walks and talks and workshops. Check out the navigation bar for a full list of offerings in education.
